SIK FIELD TRIP 2010

Last October 9, 2010, we treated our most behaved and faithfully attending kids to a fully-sponsored Field Trip. First stop was the Science Centrum in Marikina City where the children had so much fun while learning the principles of science such as Electricity & Magnetism, Earth Science, Vision & Perception, Optics, Water and more! After a quick break, we moved on the Marikina Shoe Museum where the kids discovered and appreciated the art of shoemaking which is the major source of livelihood for the Marikina people. Lunch was enjoyed at the Quezon City Memorial Circle afterwards. There, the kids ran around in the playground and rode the bike while everyone else relaxed under the shady trees. After a full day of merriment, learning and bonding, it was time to go. Though tired from the exciting activities of the day, the children went home with big smiles on their faces. Indeed, it was a memorable trip they will never ever forget.
